(ANDERSON, S.C. – July 27, 2026 – 7:00 p.m.) — AnMed continues to respond to the cybersecurity incident affecting our network. Our teams, working alongside third-party specialists, are making steady progress in restoring systems safely.
Protecting patients and providing safe care remain our highest priorities. Clinical teams continue to provide care using established downtime procedures, and decisions regarding procedures, transfers, diversions and operational processes continue to be guided by safety.
AnMed physician offices will reopen tomorrow for scheduled appointments. As phones, internet and computer systems remain offline, we ask that patients please bring all medications in their original containers to appointments and be prepared to confirm medical history. For urgent medication refill requests, please come by the office. Office staff will reach out in coming days to reschedule appointments canceled today.
AnMed Kids Care and all AnMed Urgent Care locations remain open for walk-in appointments.

The investigation into this incident remains ongoing. We understand many patients have questions about data security. Because the forensic review is still in its early stages, we are not yet able to provide additional details about the nature or scope of the incident.
