(ANDERSON, S.C. – August 12, 2026 – 6:08 p.m.) As AnMed continues making progress in restoring systems following the cybersecurity incident that began impacting systems July 26, patients with an active MyChart account and a mobile number on file can once again log in to access their health information. Patients will receive a text message with a code to complete the necessary login steps. This text message is a secure step to verify your identity before restoring access. You do not need to click any links or provide any personal information beyond the code.
While not all MyChart features are yet available, restoring patient access to health information is another important step forward in bringing services back online.
Patients can also once again call their doctors’ offices and other departments directly during regular service hours to discuss their care needs or concerns. The restoration of our phone lines provides another important way for patients to connect directly with their care teams. This progress builds on the restoration announced yesterday, when AnMed’s care teams regained the ability to view and document in patients' electronic health records.
