Safe Kids Anderson County offers car-seat checkups, safety workshops and sports clinics, helping parents and caregivers learn how to prevent childhood injuries. Since 1987, Safe Kids has given out:
- 2.5 million bicycle helmets
- 250,000 smoke alarms
- 510,000 car seats for families in need
New Baby? New Car Seat? We Can Help!
After you deliver your baby at AnMed Maternity Center, we’ll help make sure you know how to use and install your car seat properly. We’ll also check your car seat for recall history and expiration. In the meantime, you can review the current recall list from the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration.
