Physicians employed by AnMed can access their CME transcripts through HealthStream. Physicians who are not employed or contracted with AnMed, as well as retired physicians, must request a written transcript from the Office of Continuing Medical Education (OCME). Additionally, all physicians who participate in a Joint Providership CME activity must contact the OCME for a transcript.

Education and Training
We offer diverse educational activities in multiple formats to accommodate various learning styles, interests, and professional needs.
- Live Educational Activities: Keep healthcare professionals up to date with new treatments and policy changes affecting their practice.
- Regularly Scheduled Series (RSS): Compliant with ACCME standards, these activities occur weekly or monthly and are planned and presented by our educational providers' staff.
- Special Events: Throughout the year, we host focused learning opportunities such as seminars, workshops, simulations, panel discussions, and interactive sessions.
Types of CME Activities
A CME activity is an educational offering that is planned, implemented, and evaluated in accordance with the ACCME Accreditation Criteria, Standards for Commercial Support, and policies; the AMA Physician’s Recognition Award CME credit system standards and policies; and the AMA Council on Ethical and Judicial Affairs pertinent opinions. The activities below are defined by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) as follows:
- Live Conference: Activity that occurs at a specific time as scheduled by the accredited CME provider. Participation may be in person or remotely as is the case of teleconferences or live internet webinars.
- Regularly Scheduled Series: A course planned as a series with multiple, ongoing sessions, e.g., offered weekly, monthly, or quarterly; and is primarily planned by and presented to the accredited organization’s professional staff. Examples include grand rounds, masters of medicine, case of the month, cancer center/breast cancer conferences. trauma boards, tumor boards, and morbidity and mortality conferences.
