Special Funds

From helping cancer survivors to educating nurses, here’s a look at what some of our special funds support: 

  • Cancer Care Assistance Fund: Helps make sure all patients receive the medical care they need for the prevention and treatment of cancer, including mammograms and therapy at AnMed Infusion Center
  • Employee Financial Assistance Fund: Benefits AnMed employees and their families after an emergency or crisis 
  • Peggy G. Deane Nursing Fund: Helps qualifying AnMed employees to advance their education and training in nursing, nursing education and nursing administration
  • Robert B. Claytor Assistance Fund (formerly the Chaplain's Fund): Purchases prescriptions or medical supplies for low-income patients after hospital discharge 

Programs

AnMed Therapy – Pediatrics serves more than 600 children with developmental delays and disorders. They receive therapy, assistive equipment and customized programs to help them reach their full potential and live as independently as possible.

Doclink was started by a group of AnMed physicians. This school-based program focuses on substance abuse, trauma prevention and other health initiatives for Anderson County youth. Your donation helps educate students and promote healthy lifestyles.

Safe Kids Anderson County provides programming on bike and pedestrian safety, installation of car seats, water safety, poisoning, falls, fire, burn safety and safe sleep practices. 

Scales Drive Fund gives scales to patients who need to monitor their weight daily for their health.
