About

Your critically ill loved one will get high-level care and monitoring while recovering from open-heart surgery or conditions affecting their heart, chest and blood vessels. AnMed’s 15-bed Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CVICU)  is next to the Cardiac Intensive Care Unit (CICU).

You can feel confident in the CVICU team’s skills because AnMed has accreditation as a Top Performer on Key Quality Measures from  DNV Healthcare. DNV is an approved hospital accreditation organization through the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS).

Visiting the CVICU

We allow two visitors at a time. You must be over 14 years old to visit. You’ll appreciate the comfortable environment and seating in our visiting rooms, which have vending machines, phone charging stations and a TV.

Where We’re Located

Be aware you cannot get to the CVICU from the front or north side of the hospital.
