ER Visitor Information

  • Adults: One visitor for patients 18 or older is preferred, unless more than one visitor is deemed necessary for the good of the patient by the primary nurse or physician.
  • Adolescents or children: Two visitors will be allowed in the exam room with patients 17 or under.

When to Go to the ER

Call 911 right away if you or a loved one is experiencing any of the following symptoms:

  • Chest pain or pressure
  • Difficulty breathing or shortness of breath
  • Upper abdominal (belly) pain or pressure
  • Coughing or vomiting blood
  • Heavy or uncontrollable bleeding
  • Unconsciousness
  • Seizures
  • Sudden or excessive pain
  • Sudden changes in vision
  • Suicidal thoughts
