About
At AnMed Women’s & Children’s Hospital, you’ll find family-centered support as you navigate the journey of pregnancy through newborn care.
Our 72-bed hospital provides maternity services, including labor and delivery, obstetrics (OB) triage, a level 2 special care nursery and postpartum mom/baby care. Your stay will be more comfortable thanks to our amenities for you and your loved ones.
We also offer a surgical unit for women who need a Cesearean section, gynecologic surgery or another procedure.
Your child may also receive care here for an illness or injury. Our inpatient pediatric unit is staffed by pediatric hospitalists—doctors who specialize in hospital care of children.

How to Find Us
We’re located on AnMed’s North Campus. View a campus map [PDF]. Our entrance is off East Reed Road near the Anderson Area YMCA. Park in Lot E or G (orange).

For Our Patients
Visiting hours at AnMed Health Women's & Children's Hospital are from 8 a.m. to 8:30 p.m. daily. For patients’ safety, the hospital doors are locked each night at 9 p.m. After-hours visitors will need to use the call box near the main entrance to enter the hospital. Once inside, late-night visitors must sign in with the guest ambassador and get a name tag before going to a patient’s room.
Visitor Guidelines
- Read the latest COVID-19 information and updates to our policies.
- Wash your hands when entering and exiting a patient's room.
- Be as quiet as possible and respect other patients.
- Dress appropriately. Shoes and shirts are required.
- Please do not block the staff’s ability to quickly reach a patient's bedside.
- Talk with the patient's nurse about dietary restrictions before bringing food to a patient.
- Visit the Camellia Café for personal meals and snacks, or purchase a guest meal for delivery to a patient’s room.
- Don’t smoke on the hospital campus.
- If you bring balloons, they must be made of mylar, not latex.
