The Class of 2028 residents have started a three-year journey of hands-on training and teamwork as they prepare to become skilled family physicians who serve a wide range of communities.

AnMed's Family Medicine Residency Program provides a strong foundation for both MD and DO graduates, focusing on full-spectrum care in many clinical settings. About half of our alumni stay in South Carolina, continuing to support the state’s healthcare needs.

This year’s class stands out for its wide range of clinical interests—from wilderness medicine and healthcare policy to addiction care and global health. Their personal hobbies are just as diverse, including sourdough baking, crocheting, 3D printing, and ultimate frisbee.
