Build your clinical skills, expand your pharmacy knowledge and prepare for the next step in your career through the PGY1 Pharmacy Residency Program at AnMed.

Our postgraduate year one (PGY1) pharmacy residency provides pharmacists with broad experience across a variety of patient care settings within a comprehensive health system. Residents work alongside experienced pharmacists, physicians and other members of the care team while developing the clinical, leadership, research and teaching skills needed for a successful career in pharmacy.

AnMed's PGY1 Pharmacy Residency Program is an ASHP pre-candidate program.

Pharmacy Practice at AnMed

AnMed's pharmacy team supports patient care throughout the health system and works collaboratively with physicians, nurses and other health care professionals.

Residents gain exposure to both the clinical and operational sides of health-system pharmacy while learning within an interdisciplinary environment.

During the residency year, residents may experience areas such as inpatient pharmacy operations, medication preparation and distribution, clinical pharmacy services and multidisciplinary patient care.
