General Surgery, Colon & Rectal Surgery

About Me

Dr. Brian M. Sadowski is a colon and rectal surgeon at AnMed Piedmont Surgical in Anderson, South Carolina, where he provides comprehensive surgical care designed around your individual needs. He completed his undergraduate and medical education at Creighton University in Omaha, Nebraska, followed by general surgery training in Texas and advanced fellowship training in colon and rectal surgery in Connecticut.

Drawn to medicine for its blend of science and service, Dr. Sadowski discovered his passion for hands‑on problem solving during medical school. His specialty allows him to practice the full scope of colorectal care, including office‑based procedures, endoscopy, anorectal surgery and complex abdominal and cancer operations. He values the variety of his field and the opportunity to tailor care based on each patient’s condition.

Dr. Sadowski approaches care one patient at a time, taking the time to listen, examine thoroughly and explain options in clear, understandable terms. Some visits are brief, while others require more in‑depth discussion, depending on your needs. When surgery is recommended, his focus is on thoughtful planning and providing the best care possible to support treatment and recovery.

He values collaboration with his partners and care team at AnMed and works closely with patients facing cancer to help guide them through treatment, surgery and healing with compassion and reassurance.

Outside of work, Dr. Sadowski prioritizes time with his family. He and his wife have three sons and enjoy traveling, golfing, neighborhood walks and sharing their love of baseball, from local games to the College World Series. He also enjoys reading, hands‑on projects at home and exploring genealogy and spirituality.
