About Me

Growing up, I was always interested in the sciences, anatomy, and physiology. I also enjoyed building and developing relationships with people. In college, I realized I could combine my two passions as a physician. I chose my orthopedic surgery specialty during medical school because I was fascinated by the types of surgeries. I also found it rewarding to help people get back to an active lifestyle.

My specialty is robotic hip and knee replacement. I completed a fellowship and an additional year of sub-specialized hip and knee replacement training. I gained experience using the latest hip and knee replacement techniques, including muscle-sparing hip replacement and robotic surgery. Using these techniques allows many patients to have less pain and recover quicker with fewer activity restrictions after surgery. Robotic surgery also helps me offer a personalized joint replacement plan based on every patient's anatomy and condition.

When you come to see me for an appointment, I’ll give you my undivided attention. I get to know you, your family, and your hobbies. Learning about what activities you want to return to helps me tailor your care and recommend the best treatment plan. I’ll help you understand your condition and treatment options. This may involve surgery or not. I want you to walk away satisfied with your care and restored to an active lifestyle.

I feel privileged to be an orthopedic surgeon. I get to deliver lifestyle-preserving care by restoring patients' quality of life.

Health is the greatest wealth, so I try to lead an active and healthy lifestyle outside work. My wife and I enjoy exercising, running, hiking, and traveling.
