Dr. Jill Cater Aiken chose pediatrics because she believes caring for children is one of the best ways to strengthen families and communities. At AnMed Medical Center, she looks after children in the hospital and newborn nursery, helping families through both routine care and unexpected health needs.

Her medical interests include hospital medicine and newborn care. She finds it rewarding to guide parents through their child’s earliest days and to offer support during hospital stays. Parents value the way she listens, explains clearly, and helps create a care plan that feels right for their child.

Outside of work, Dr. Aiken enjoys long walks by streams and waterfalls with her husband. She also spends her free time oil painting and gardening.
