About Me

Dr. Priyanka Ghosh is an interventional cardiologist at AnMed Cardiology in Anderson, S.C. She works closely with patients to improve heart health through teamwork, trust, and clear communication. She believes that good care starts with listening and that every patient’s story matters.

Dr. Ghosh has a special interest in women’s heart health, coronary imaging, and valve procedures. She is also passionate about helping more women enter the field of interventional cardiology. Her love for the heart began in medical school, where she was inspired by a female cardiologist and her time in the cardiac catheterization lab.

She earned her medical degree from A.T. Still University in Missouri and completed her internal medicine residency and chief residency at Allegheny Health Network in Pittsburgh, Pa. She then trained in general cardiology at Guthrie Robert Packer Hospital and is finishing her interventional cardiology fellowship at Allegheny Health Network.

Dr. Ghosh speaks English and Bengali. She is certified in BLS and ACLS. She enjoys helping patients understand their health and believes that care works best when patients and doctors work as a team.

Outside the clinic, Dr. Ghosh loves being outdoors with her husband and family. She enjoys running, hiking, skiing, and soaking up the sun.
