She earned her medical degree from St. John’s Medical College in Bangalore, India, graduating in March 2017. She completed her residency at Morehouse School of Medicine in Atlanta, Georgia, in June 2023, and her fellowship at the University of Virginia in Charlottesville, Virginia, in June 2025. She also holds a Master of Public Health from Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health in Baltimore, Maryland.

Dr. Basil speaks English, Hindi and Malayalam and is accepting new patients. Her professional focus is on all aspects of endocrinology, diabetes and metabolism.
