About Me

Dr. Shea Comadoll is an orthopedic surgeon at AnMed Orthopedics and Sports Medicine. She provides care for your bones, joints and muscles, helping you regain movement and return to the activities you enjoy.

Her approach is hands-on, practical, and focused on your goals. Whether you are recovering from an injury or preparing for joint replacement surgery, you can expect clear communication, evidence-based treatment and support every step of the way.

Dr. Comadoll earned her medical degree from Wake Forest School of Medicine in Winston-Salem, North Carolina, in 2019, followed by a residency in orthopedic surgery at the University of Minnesota in Minneapolis, completed in June 2024. She completed a fellowship in Trauma and Adult Reconstruction at Rutgers-JCMC/CBMC in Jersey City, New Jersey, from August 2024 to July 2025. She also holds a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry from Appalachian State University in Boone, North Carolina, graduating summa cum laude with university and departmental honors.

Outside of work, she enjoys home renovation, having completed five full projects, and staying active through weight lifting, tennis, wakeboarding and snowboarding. These hobbies reflect her love of challenge, precision, and staying engaged physically and mentally — qualities she brings to your care as well.
