- Home health services
AnMed OT services are available in the hospital and on an outpatient basis at AnMed Orthopedics and Sports Medicine and AnMed Pediatric Therapy, both in Anderson.
Hand Therapy
AnMed’s hand therapists treat arm, wrist, elbow and shoulder conditions. These professionals have extra training in caring for these complex parts of the body to restore range of motion and reduce pain. Our hand therapists will work closely with you and your doctor to ensure the best possible recovery.
What to Expect
Once your doctor has referred you for occupational therapy, our OT specialists will meet with you to evaluate your specific needs and understand your goals for improvement. We’ll then develop a therapy program and schedule to help you meet those goals.
At each therapy session, one or more of our specially trained therapists will work directly with you. This may include special exercises, equipment and training to use the equipment for daily tasks.
