For several years, we have participated in the South Carolina Hospital Association's PricePoint program. This online resource provides average charges for a selection of common inpatient, outpatient and emergency department procedures as a general estimate of the bill you will receive from us.
New Price Estimation Tool and Charge and Pricing List
AnMed is also happy to make available a new price estimation tool. This is an easy-to-use tool that takes specific information about your needed services and your health insurance coverage to give the most accurate price estimation and potential out-of-pocket costs for our most common services. In addition and in compliance with federal law, AnMed also makes a complete list of standard charges and negotiated prices available to patients. This list represents the charges for individual items and services as well as the health plan negotiated prices for those same items and services. It is important to note that it is rare that a visit to the hospital will only include one of these services and because of the complex nature of healthcare, it is very difficult to know in advance which services or items a patient may need during his or her visit.
Please note the following important additional points when reviewing this charge and pricing list:
- The charges and prices on this list do not necessarily reflect the amount you will pay out of pocket. The amount you pay is based on many factors, including your health insurance, benefit plan (co-payments and deductible), applicable discounts, and services provided based on each patient's unique needs.
- Although we update this list annually, the charges and prices may not reflect the most current charge items or charge amounts as additions and changes are frequently made to the listing. Therefore, while these charges and prices reflect our best attempt at current information, they may not always be representative of the charges and prices you will receive on your final bill for services provided by our facility.
- The information in this list contains only charges and prices specific to AnMed's hospital services and does not include related charges for physician office fees, clinic charges, radiologists, pathologists and other professional services provided in conjunction with our hospital services.
Lastly, when considering the price of services, we also recommend checking with your insurance provider for an accurate estimate of out-of-pocket costs, which is based on your real-time insurance benefits and your insurance company's contracted rate with AnMed. If you are not insured, AnMed offers discounts on all services as well as a financial assistance program and several no- or low-interest payment options.
