Candace Whitfield, NP is a nurse practitioner in family medicine, certified in acute care and gerontology. She practices at AnMed Primary Care – Honea Path, serving the community where she was born and raised. Candace earned her nursing degree from Lander University in Greenwood and her Doctor of Nursing Practice from the University of South Carolina in Columbia.

She chose family medicine to care for people of all ages in her hometown. Candace focuses on treating the whole person by listening, learning their background, and tailoring care to their needs.

When she is not working, Candace spends time with her three children. They enjoy camping, biking, and being outdoors together. She has been with AnMed since 2008, starting as a nurse intern and continuing her career in a place she calls home.
