William Farkas, DO is a board-certified family physician at AnMed Primary Care – Honea Path, providing care for patients of all ages, from infants to older adults. He earned a bachelor’s degree in chemistry from Austin Peay State University and his DO degree from Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine. He completed his family medicine residency at Womack Army Medical Center at Fort Bragg.
Dr. Farkas manages common conditions such as hypertension, diabetes, COPD, depression, and anxiety, and performs simple in-office procedures including skin lesion removals, joint injections, and Nexplanon insertions. He focuses on treating each patient with respect and individualized care.
Outside of work, he enjoys spending time with his wife and three daughters, working on puzzles and Legos, gardening, and staying active. Dr. Farkas values being part of AnMed, where he can serve the Anderson community.
